So, just what am I doing wrong? I plugged the disk controller
into slot 6 of the ][plus, plugged in the drives, and tried to boot
some disks. Nothing. I vaguely recall having some kind of similiar
problem when my brother gave me his old ][, but didn't give it much of
a thought then. And considering he had a lot of 16 sector disks, I
figured just insert and boot.
The drives and disk controller are fine, they all worked on
a spare //e I have. And the CPUs are fine as far as I know (at least
I was told "they work" before they were handed to me.)
