Since when did the GS become a Mac? :-)



Yeah, I know the difference, but apparently Computer Reseller News (one of
the trade rags I get) doesn't.  Turn to page 122 of the 1 June issue.  In
an article section called "Attack of the Macintosh," they included a
picture of what they thought was a representative Mac system of the
mid-80s.  Turns out that what they ran instead was a picture of an Apple
IIGS!

They also make the mistake of referring to the Mac as Apple's "first
megahit" (their words).  Then again, given that CRN has only been around 15
years and the II has been around for 20 years, I suppose you could say that
the II was just a little bit ahead of their time. :-)
