Slow, old drives.  If you are getting an HD40SC or HD80SC, make sure
you get them cheap.

Now THAT is a better drive for the //e.  Yes, it will work for the //e,
but you will need an external case for it if you don't have one already
(or you can run the SCSI cable from your //e to the drive inside a PC
case, where it gets power).

No conversion necessary.  Only an external case and partitioning and
reformatting it on the //e.

Get a RamFAST SCSI card and you are set.  Look for them from Sequential
Systems (http://www.sequential.com/).  The Apple II High Speed SCSI
card is also a good choice.  If you have a ZipChip in the system, then
the RamFAST will have problems, so in a //e with a ZipChip, get an
Apple II HS SCSI card.
