I've found a workaround for the XGS palette bug!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe I found a workaround for the XGS palette bug.

Here's what I did to correct the problem in Windows 95:

a. Go into the control panel.
b. Click on system.
c. Click the performance tab.
d. Click graphics (in the advanced settings section)
e. Move the slider to the basic setting (second from the left).

After rebooting, your graphics acceleration will be reduced, but you will be
able to play Zany Golf and all of the other great IIGS software that was not
functioning before. This worked for me, and I'm hoping it will work for other
XGS users!
