Your pseudonym seems to indicate that you know enough about bueraucracy.
Ground is a 'legal' site, so it is reserved for Freeware, Shareware
or PD and it is referenced by all legal eagles with a black and white
view.
On the other hand, Asimov is a "goddamned pirate site", and thus it is
reserved for everything else. Vogons won't make any difference between
ten year old pirated software and new pirated stuff.
My own site ftp.uni-kl.de, doesn't fit anywhere in this scheme, because
it offers only PD stuff. But "some" of the csa2 Vogons have decided that
it's still dubious and they have deleted references to this site from their
home pages. Doesn't matter, people know where it is anyway!
I guess the real reason is the fact that I have included a lot of
jokes and insults which are directed to a very special company (Hint:
the first letter is a "M"). :-)

.shk images seem to be the most reliable format for 5.25" disk, although
useless for emulators. .dsk images on the other hand, can't
handle some uncommon disk formats. I'm currently shrinking my 5.25"
disks to .shk format.

Feel free to upload anything to my ftp site, and I will make it
available. Only PD please! (I'm no Vogon, but I don't want to
be thrown into the open space by one of them ;-)
