That's a good price, especially if it turns out to be the model with
1MB on the motherboard. Make sure it works, though.

The monitor can also be used with Amiga computers, Atari ST computers,
and game consoles (Sega, Nintendo, etc.).

To see how much a refurbished IIgs runs for, see the following sources:

Sun Remarketing (http://www.sunrem.com/)
Alltech Electronics (http://www.allelec.com/)

For a IIgs guaranteed to run and with a warranty, these places run
the machine for typically $225 bare bones to $500 for a complete
system.

If you get this $45 system, you'll probably want to bump the memory
up to 4MB to 8MB to get it rolling. Alltech carries a 0-8MB SIMM
based memory board. The IIgs takes ADB (Macintosh style) keyboards
and mice. The Apple Standard ADB and Apple Extended ADB (I or II)
work well and some third party ones do too. Practically all ADB
mice, trackballs, and touch pads work also. You can now use the
computer for web browsing and it makes an excellent word processor
and a decent consumer level synthesizer (for a computer). Oh, and
most non-beige Macintosh 3.5" drives plug into the disk port.
