Epson LQ printer driver bug

Hi Everyone,

I'm tying to use an Epson LQ-850 printer with my 2gs, and run into a problem:
The Epson.LQ driver is only printing a portion of any text line, when using the
"Better Text" option in the "Print" menu popup. This doesn't happen using
either the draft or "better color" options, eg

Better color: A test line across the page would print this correctly

Better text :                 ss the page would pri

ie not much of the line is being printed (but what is printed is correctly
spaced, located etc).  Has anyone else met this? Is it a problem with the
LQ-850, because many people seem to be using exactly the same driver with Canon
bubble jet printers in Epson emulation mode.

Using the ordinary Epson printer driver (not LQ) that comes with gs/os 6.0.1
works perfectly, but it's a lot slower (4 passes of the printhead per line) and
the print that does come out of the LQ driver looks better! Arrrgh...
