Later versions of the NSC didn't patch ProDOS on disk (which is _very_
version-dependent), they include a system program (nsc.system?) which
runs first and patches over the ProDOS clock driver in memory.

Since the NSC stores the year (rather than computing it from the date
and day of week using the calendar congruence), there is no need to
update the .system program every few years.
