Are you using Copy ][+ to copy these files? DON"T!!!!!!
 
Copy ][+ does not copy system 6's 'forked' files, you will corrupt files on
your disks if you use it. Use the finder, the System 6 installer, prod=sell 16,
or any 16-bit system 6 or 6.01 compatible utility to copy.
 
I would beg borrow or buy a clean set of sys 6 (or 6.0.1) disks
reinstal using the finder, apply appropriate patches (like Nathan Mates'
GUPP) and give copy ][+ to a friend with a //e or //c.
