Thanks for the post. Though an inCider subscriber, this is a news blurb I
missed.
Yes; it is a shame. You should have read some of the 'Computer Wars'
pieces published in late 80's Computist issues. They outlined a series of
necessary GS upgrades including, especially, the graphics improvements
mentioned in BC's article. Big Green, of course, decided to 'tread water' via
the ROM-03-- _very_ disappointing.
So; now we have arrived at 1997. It turns out not to be such a great
source of satisfaction to see Apple slide into oblivion.
