I don't understand what is wrong with "speculation posts".  First of all, I've 
learned more about what REALLY happened in Apple's past concerning the ][, and 
in terms of technology speculation, I've learned a LOT just by reading.  
Somebody says "what if..." and the responses are usually "no, you can't, 
because ..." and I learn.  It's amazing what you can pick up about your II 
just by reading speculation.  

To be disappointed that a newsgroup is not all happy and cheerful is naive.  
This is usenet, and everybody and their brother is climbing on board... 
meaning there is always going to be an argument.  (Diversity is what makes us 
human)  

Now, I agree, the immature posts really make me upset, but I deal with it, 
either by cracking some sarcasm, or by ignoring it.
