PIX.WHIZ 2.2 released
Note: This is a repost of a message I posted about a week ago, but which I
think got eaten by the newsfeed. My apologies to those who may be seeing
it for the second time.
I have posted the latest version, 2.2, of the PIX.WHIZ program to
comp.binaries.apple2.
PIX.WHIZ is a graphics editor which allows you to make full color graphics
for use with the New Print Shop. Version 2.2 features substantially
faster loading and saving of the graphics files. PIX.WHIZ can now load
Print Shop GS graphics files and convert them to New Print Shop format. I
have remedied a hardware conflict that prevented the use of some clocks
while running PIX.WHIZ, as well as a conflict with some RAM drives. I
remedied a hardware conflict with the IIgs which caused scrambled drawing
screens. There are a few other bug fixes related to the error recovery
routine. There is also a prettier splash screen.
BTW anyone who is writing an Apple II app and who needs info on file
formats for NPS files, let me know. I have figured out formats for a
number of the files.
