Bzzzzt!  ProSel will fix anything :)

Here's the solution: Go into Cat Doctor, and sort the bad directory.
Move the bad file to the end of the list (with <openapple> <up/down
arrow>), and then hit <openapple> <delete>.  Voila!  The bad file
which you just moved to the end is gone.  Now, write the "sorted"
directory to disk.  You'll want to run Mr. Fixit after such an
operation and free the blocks marked as used.

This is the Bredon-recommended method for removing files that
accidentally share the same data block.

If anyone has any questions pertaining messed-up directories, and you
don't think ProSel can fix it, email me! :)
