THe other card that the Supersonic runs to appears to be the Hyperstudio
digitizer.  The Hyperstudio card had the rainbow ribbon that you have
described.  With it you can create your own sounds and stuff. You can use
the software that came w/ Hyperstudio. check the hard drive and see if
Hyperstudio is installed.  If not check the net for apps like rsounder3, a
very good one.

One note one the Supersonic, you may want to connect a y-adapter or an
extension to it. This way if you have to unplug your speakers for some
reason, you won't have to mess with the inside of the GS.  you will have
to "shave" around the plug itself to make it fit thru one of the openings
in the back of the GS, but believe me its worth it.
