Turn flow control on (that's CTS/RTS handshaking.) I'm fairly sure that ProTerm
overrides the control panel settings, though. Look or the ProTerm driver called
Generic Flow Control or Generic CTS/RTS, I don't remember the exact name. Flow
control also must be turned on at the modem end.
If you turn on flow control CTS/RTS, and you get the CONNECT message, but nothing
else, then you have a cable problem. It might be possible to use XON/XOFF flow
control, but I haven't tried this. Best bet is to get a good modem cable.
