Naturally, one hesitates to appear to contradict csa2's resident
Mac Priestess, especially when she is avidly casting flamebait upon the
waters. Even so, it is worth noting that speculation,
computer-vs-computer battles, and similar pursuits are part of an
ancient Apple ][ tradition extending back to times when Mac was just a
pimple on the end of Steve Jobs's nose.
