Somehow, the idea of paying high rates for compressed air in cans seems
like a waste!
I just carry the board outside and huff-and-puff, BLOWING the dust off
the board. Sometimes I use a clean cloth, moistened, and wipe the board,
waiting at least an hour for the water to dry.
This has worked so far: When I built my STEALTH-GS (IIgs motherboard in
IIe casing), I had many tiny metal bits around the unit from the
hacksaw-hacking of the back-panel metal. I BLEW the pieces away, and
nothing shorted ---- no sparks, no smoke!
