yes, it can be partitioned. On a Mac, I used FWB's disk formatter to
make about
seven partitions on a Zip, and install FWB's driver in place of the
normal Zip
driver. this worked great, and the FWB driver ejects it properly, too.
But when I tried using the original Zip utility on the partitioned Zip,
it only
recognized the first partition (it's a rather braindead utility). I
didn't try
setting the read-only option in the Zip utility. reformatting the
cartridge in
the zip utility restored the disk to the original single partition with
the
Zip driver.
