     I am a member of the The Carolina Apple Core, an Apple2/Mac
usergroup based in Raleigh, NC.  We are a small group, but we span
enough apple knowledge to cover most subjects.  The purpose for our
group is to offer continuing support for apple users in a world where
that support is increasingly hard to find.
     So what does this have to do with you?  We want your input and
participation!  We want to share what we have with the rest of the apple
world, in hopes that we can improve the standards of apple computing
around the world!  Call our home BBS, CORETALK, at (919)544-1356 to meet
the people behind this operation and to get more information.  We also
have a monthly newsletter entitled From The Core, or FTC for short.  It
features reviews of software and computer-related books, how-to
articles, and even lessons in Applesoft BASIC from the omniscient Dr.
Gosub!  We specialize, or at least are very good at troubleshoting apple
computers.  If you have any questions or problems, you've found the
