   If it's just 2 GSs, Appletalk is mostly only useful for printer
sharing. There's no direct drive mounting available unless you either
buy a mac (real old used SEs and the like are dirt cheap, and won't
put any $ into Apple's coffers). Babar St Cyr apparently wrote some
sort of command line filesharing util for GSs only, but I've never
used it and can't comment on its usability.

   If you're only transferring over random files like scans, digitized
stuff, you may find that 'sneakernetting' over 800K disks (or even Zip
disks) may be faster and cheaper than acquiring a Mac do do the
functionality Apple never completed for the Apple IIs.  You could also
put a null modem between the two and xfer files at 38400 or up, with
any telecomm programs you may have.
