CGA monitor on a Laser 128

Well, I finally got to try it this weekend and it seems to work. 40-col
mode looks great. I am getting some "tearing" of characters in 80-col mode,
though. Perhaps it is my monitor, but I am getting results more like
what I would expect from a color composite monitor.
If I can find another one, I may try a differnt monitor to see if it
makes a difference.
I'm not sure I should be surprised, though. As I recall, CGA is little more
than a color TV without *any* of the composite or demodulation cirtuitry.
