The usual way:  plug a different Duodisk onto the card and see if it
boots, and/or plug your Duodisk onto a different card and see if it
boots.  If it booted, you could test various functions (speed and
ability to read/write properly) but if it ain't....

Repairing a faulty Duodisk can be done, but not as easily as one would
hope.  The old Disk]['s are cake cuz there are two chips in suspect when
anything goes wrong, and the chips are socketed -- not so with the Duo.
