Yes, there are adapters to convert the 68-pin connector on wide SCSI
drives to the 50-pin narrow SCSI connector... I've got two of 'em :)
Dunno where you can get them though, I got mine at a local electronics
type store. They're not rare or uncommon or anything :)
I've not actually tried using a wide drive on my GS, but I don't see
any reason it wouldn't work (besides the problem with RamFASTs not
getting along with some drives).
