Yes.  Get a serial cable and a regular terminal program for both
computers (ProTerm seems to be the Apple // one people use, but I
think it's too expensive).

For info on disk image transfer, you'd be better off in
comp.emulators.apple2
For this, I use ADT, available from
ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/utilities
