To access the Apple II forums on America Online you have to use the
following "keyword" 

aol://4344:1264.a2main.10029531.514525857

you can then "bookmark" this as a favorite. 

The AOL Apple II message area is history, but the file archives are still
there, and you can post a message to the New files area. 

AFL GaryJ is the Apple II sysop, and responded to my query within hours
yesterday. Not bad service.

Of other note regarding AOL, they recently jacked the price for vendor
forums WAY up ($55,000/year). So the few remaining Apple II vendors
(ByteWorks, for instance) no longer could afford to remain. There's email
there of course, but even for those of us who go on AOL with a Mac or PC,
there is no real support area there now. Yet another loss for the family.
