ShadowWrite problem

Do other people have this problem?

If I double-click on a text or word processing file (from the Finder) to
open it in ShadowWrite 1.33, then click the close box, then repeat a few
times, my computer will hang. It doesn't take a huge number of repeats
to cause the problem - about 5 will do. The same was true using Hermes.
However, if I launch ShadowWrite once, I can open and close as many files
within it as are necessary without hanging.

Is this a problem with the program or my system?
