OK, I have the information backwards.  She said 'Someone at Apple, Inc.
told her that a IIGS could not be Networked with a Computer that 'came'
with a PowerPC chip (verses the ones upgraded).

I thought when she told me that this certainly would not be the case.
Looks like someone at Apple needs to be informed about networking a
IIGS.

I have networked my IIGS with my Mac and it does work great but 
my Mac is not PowerPC native.  Did your Macs come with the PowerPC
chip verses upgrading?
