And who said they did? The original poster was asking about a (possibly $35)
shareware program, and I suggested a (possibly) free program that does the
same thing as an alternative. People need to read articles more closely, and
needless, off-topic stuff like this won't start. Of course, killing needless
off-topic stuff would drop this group's traffic to nil seems like.

All well and good, but has nothing to do with having to pay $35 for DiversiDOS
as opposed to getting Pronto-DOS for free. Now that we've hashed that out,
maybe someone can follow up with info on the status of the two programs.
