Perhaps.  There should be no problem using personal file-sharing on a
PPC MacOS computer.  The problem comes if the PPC is truly a server.
A IIGS (and IIe w/workstation card) can boot off a server such as
AppleShare 2.x or 3.x.  Neither of these versions of Appleshare run
on a PPC.  A PPC needs AppleShare v4.x or higher.  Unfortunately,
Apple dropped Apple II 'boot' support from AppleShare 4.0 and higher.
Since I don't have AppleShare higher than v3.0.3, I don't know what
an AppleII can do with AppleShare4.0 and higher.  I suspect a II can
log onto an appleshare4.x+ server, just not boot over the network.
Randy Shackleford or David Empson, can you add any info re AppleShare4+ ?
