Oh, hang -- just when it looked like things were coming to a
conclusion. I can't believe that this Quality is so large that one
hand wouldn't know what the other was doing.

Steve, please keep on this. I was just about to send off a check to
the given address.

Concerning the above post - first let me clarify to both the newsgroup
readers and also to the posters; Steve Cavanaugh and Bruce Maples, (1)
there is a Quality Software Management, with a telephone number listed
near the city of Newton, MA. It is not in Newton. MA. It is in a city
near Newton, MA. (it is not a registered company nor is it in any manner
associated with Quality Software of Newton, MA, located at 60 Lewis, St.
Newton, MA. 02158. I contacted this 'Quality Software Management' per
tel. call (617-862-5418) spoke with Mr. Lehotsky and his wife about the
matter and confusion of his 'Quality Software Management' name. His email
is: lehotsky@tiac.net. I also contacted him via email and got the same
reply, that he was not located in Newton. MA. and his address was not
located at 60 Lewis St. He assured me he had nothing to do with the Apple
II software nor with the title of WordPerfect for the Apple II and IIGS.

(2) It should be made perfectly clear for all concerned that Quality
Software, (the legal owners of WordPerfect for the Apple II and IIGS) is a
different concern at the address of:
60 Lewis St., Newton, MA. There is no telephone listing for Quality
Software at 60 Lewis St. in Newton, MA.

The lady from the legal dept. of Corel emailed me to inform me that Corel,
did not own the rghts to the program for the Apple II and IIGS and that
Quality Software - located at 60 Lewis St. in Newton, MA owned the program
rights.

(3) So, for the enlightenment and clarification of all...'Quality Software
Management' is located in Lexington, MA (a city about 15 miles away from
Newton, MA. in the same area code of 617. Most likely, if you call the
information asking for a listing for Quality Software, they will give you
the listing for Quality Software Managment, in the city of Lexington, MA.

(4) Quality Software in Newton, MA (no tel. listing) is not the same as
Quality Software Management in Lexington, MA (with a tel. listing).

I do suggest that those interested in obtaining the WordPerfect program
for the Apple II and IIGS, send the shareware fee of $10 to:

Quality Software
60 Lewis St.
Newton, MA 02158

And, it might be a good idea also to ask them to send you a
reply and confirmation of the programs ownership, status, etc. - so that
this confusion and these questions about these matters can all be varified
to you.

I hope this information will be of some useful value for those that wish
to pursue the issues correctly for some sort of conclusive confirmation.

Cheers,
Tom
