How should I use my 5.25" in GS?

I have a GS with HD, 3.5" and a lot of other stuff. I want to use 5.25",
too. I have an old-styled regular Apple // disk controller card in slot
6.
How should I use the 5.25"s? Should I install something?
I have tried the slotsettings as 'your card' and 'disk whatever'.
I have also installed and removed the Apple 5.25" drivers.
The only way I might use the floppys are buy _booting_ direct from them,
but that's not fun.
