Help about creating disk images

How can I create a DOS3.3 or ProDOS disk image?
I have a serial connection between a //c (with its internal 5 1/4" disk
drive only) and a Mac, and my main problem is:
how can I transfer data other than ASCII text files--that is, whole
disks or programs--from //c to Mac to make them run with an emulator?
Which kind of communication programs do I need (I have only Access// for
the Apple//c)?
I do NOT have a 3 1/2" drive for //c, so I can't copy //c programs into
3 1/2" disks.
My idea would be to use some Apple//c program for copying disks,
specifying as destination the modem port... Is it possible?
