     Yes. Convert 3200 by Brutal Deluxe will allow viewing 256-color .BMP 
pics up to 1280 x 800 in size.

     Since your GS will be in 320 x 200 mode, this is the largest portion 
of a pic you can view at any time at full resolution. Convert 3200 allows 
down-sizing a large pic (i.e. trading off some detail) in order to view 
more of it at once. You can save the screen in several formats, including 
Apple Preferred (which is loadable by Platinum Paint).

     Shareware Solutions II sells Convet 3200. I'm pretty sure SS-II 
is still including LemminGS free with each 3200 purchase.
