Now, anyone can image what happens when I buy a new program, or get the
lastest free/shareware from the ftp sites, and then take my GS to a meeting...
People get excited about what I can do with a GS, and they look up to me (and
others of course :), and they want to do/have the same. In other words: they
want to copy everything from me. Share/ freeware they can get, but not the
other software.

But... until I SHOW the (latest) software I have, there is no way for them to
find out there is new software, let alone BUY it. And newbies are known to
'send disks and receive programs'... and there are real stupid and dumb people
out there that you have to explain everything about software
(free/share/comm.) again & again. I even know people who can't read/ write
English, and don't know how to use their credit cards!

Well, what I actually wanted to say, is that we have to tell our GS friends
that there is new software out there. Inform them. Show them, but not GIVE it
to them. Dark Castle Magazine, and also SS II, Juiced GS, Apple Blossom and
other UG newsletters may be doing this, but it seems important (to me) to
explicitely KEEP doing this. And, what I do on meetings, is tell people about
software. I do presentations every 3 months, and people just love it.

Oh well, lots of thoughts, less structure in this email.
