apple2-v003-linux.tar.gz

I've just completed some bug-fixes and some add-on code for the
x86-Linux Apple II emulator. The new version (v003) is currently
available in the incoming directories of ftp.apple.asimov.net and
tsx-11.mit.edu.

The new version sports:

        1) Fixed language card initialization bug.

        2) Fixed switched-colors bug.

        3) Added apple II debugger console for mucking around with the
virtual machine as it's running. You can compile this functionality
into the program (default) or leave it out.

        4) Added support for standard 232960 byte .nib disks.

        5) Added a more intuitive interface to selecting disks. You
can now traverse forward and backward in a directory hierarchy with
the base directory set by your .apple2 config file.

        6) changed keymap: shift-p = @ and shift-N = ^, just like my
old II+ keyboard.

Like the previous versions part of the program is written in AT&T 386
assembly for speed. Graphics are done with SVGAlib 1.2.9 or later.
Copying policy is GPL.

The code I have written for this program has nothing to do with my
employer, BBN. It was written completely on my own time and on my own
machine.
