I don't think anyone is advocating an abandonment of the current format!
It's just that the FAQs are a useful reference tool. If you need
something from the FAQ and do not happen to be on-line, you could launch
HyperCard and navigate to the answer to your question right from the home
card. If you have downloaded a HyperCard version. The point is, for
people who have HCGS (or who have Macintoshes) and who have downloaded the
FAQ, having the FAQ in HyperCard format might be a little more
approachable than trying to wade through either the Text or HTML version.
Remember, there is a distinct lack of HTML browsers (even for local
documents) on the ][...until someone adapts Lynx, HyperCard and
HyperStudio are the best hypertext browsers we have for the ][.
Of course, the ideal way to handle it would be for someone to compose an
HTML-->HyperTalk converter so that the end user could download the HTML
version of the FAQ(s) once in a while and update the corresponding
HyperCard stacks.
