I have bought such a beast one month ago and I have had no problems with it
so far. All the disk space I need. Even zip drive users can only eat my
dust ;)
You need two things to use a Jaz on a gs:
1) A RamFast SCSI card. Older SCSI's may work, but only Sequential's
RamFast supports the new SCSI-2 standard. Problems with Apple High-speed
SCSI cards and zip drives have been reported, there will probably be
problems with the jaz, too.
The RamFast comes complete with utilities in the rom to format any disks,
so you can buy standard pc-formatted disks.

2) A patch for the HFS FST. There is a bug in Apple's HFS FST which will
cause a severe error if you try to use volumes larger than 87 K or so.
You can grab the patch from ftp.uni-kl.de and the most major ftp sites.
