You can plug it in with the right cable. The problem, as usual, is
getting the two to talk to each other. PC parallel ports are
bidirectional parallel I/O. 95+% of Apple II parallel ports are one
way only. (Some exceptions exist like the rather rare Profile
controller card). Once you've found a card that'll work, you need to
write drivers. At least there's some semblance of drivers for these,
if you examine the Linux kernel source code. Port that, and you're
up and talking. Oops, only the GS has a program to read a PC-formatted
Zip disk... better write something also.
Probably much cheaper and faster (both in terms of overall time and
disk i/o speed) to just get a SCSI Zip drive and a SCSI card for your
PC.
