Over the weekend I came into possession of a mint looking Amiga 1080
monitor. Since the Apple RGB monitor I use with my IIgs has seen
better days I thought I might use the 1080 with it. From what I've
read this should be possible since they're both analogue RGB
monitors. However when I went to go hook it up I discovered that
Apple monitor cable is not compatible with the 1080. The 1080 has
a regular looking RGB port while the Apple has a much wider port.
Where can I get a cable that will allow me to hook up the 1080 to
the IIgs?
Here are the pin to pin connections you need to make the cable.

Is the 1080 a better monitor to use or should I look into getting
another Apple RGB monitor? The 1080 looks like it has a slightly
bigger screen which is already a big plus in my book.
From what I can gather it is practically the same monitor.

Sorry to necro-bump this, but does the 1080 have the same pinout as
the 1084? Can the 1080 even be used with the iigs? I re-read the FAQ
and noticed that it said 1084, not 1080.
