Maybe I should make this a little bit more clear in the FAQ. I'm a
GS developer myself. I hate software piracy. I only list Apple II ftp
sites in the FAQ where the maintainers keep a pretty close watch on
uploads and only make legitimately publically available software
downloadable.
In short, you can feel safe downloading pretty much everything
from apple2.caltech.edu, and as long as you stay away from the
Turleyized 1WSW directories on ground.icsa.uiowa.edu, you'll stay on
the legal and safe side of things.

Not currently, to my knowledge. There's a fair amount of software
out there, and building a list would take quite some time. Maybe after
I get some more work done on some other FAQs would I consider building
such a list myself.
