The unidisk 5.25 drive -probably- has the same speed adjustment pot the
older non-unidisk 5.25 drives have, accessible by a hole on the underside
of the drive. This hole may be covered by a sticker, a label, or a stick-
on foot. Pot to be adjusted with a plastic or nylon fiddlestick. Speed can
be checked with Locksmith or Copy II+.
 
Since the 3.5 unidisk spins at different speeds at different locations on
the disk surface, it is impossible to adjust unless you have some
technical tools and a lot of skill and knowledge. Harold Hislop adjusted
my 3.5 unidisk after SOME member of my family failed to plug one 3.5
unidisk firmly and tightly into the back of the other 3.5 unidisk and blew
something on the internal board when it came unplugged. After repair, it
had to be aligned and adjusted.
