Re: Can an Apple II use a 14.4 modem?

I have a Magnum 14.4K faxmodem on my IIgs. It would work just fine with a
Super Serial Card also. Don't know about Lasers, but I sure don't foresee
a problem.

Geez, you could at least find yourself a used 2400 modem. They can be
found for 10 bucks or less. I paid $30 for the used Magnum.

Be sure to avoid modems that use ADB power or do part of the modem's job in
software, and you should be just fine.
