Re: How should I re-install the HD?

If the GS/OS system disks are ok, but they won't boot, then it's
probably a hardware fault somewhere in the system. Does it boot when
you remove everything but the RAM, monitor and keyboard? If so, then
something you removed is at fault. Also, check for RAM faults-- the
internal system test does not check anything on the expansion RAM
card.

You got into this mess earlier when you tried to copy files around
in the system folder. I've tried to tell you this before-- if you
don't know what you're doing, then *DON'T* mess with your system
folder. Use the nice installer Apple shipped with 6.0.1-- and if
GS/OS won't run off your 3.5" drive, how do you expect it to magically
run off your HD?

You do have a problem, and you're going at it the wrong way. Copying
files around isn't going to fix what's looking like a hardware fault.
