Almost, but not quite.
The sequence you want is "01 4C 00 C5", and you want to put it into the first
four bytes of track 0, sector 0 (on a 5.25-inch disk) or block 0 (on a 3.5-
inch disk).
Of course this will render the modified disk unbootable, except for purposes
of moving on to slot 5.
The "01" at the beginning is essential. Any other byte in that position on
a 5.25-inch disk will cause the controller to go crazy trying to load
extra sectors it doesn't need. And if the first byte of a 3.5-inch disk or
a hard disk isn't "01", then the firmware considers the disk unbootable.
