     That program is even more limited than Angel.  It does not handle 
the "deflate" method of compressing which modern versions of PKzip use.  
The only other program that I'm aware of that handles this compression 
method is PMPunzip version 2.0.  It only works on the GS and of course, 
is graphics-based.  For IIe users, Angel is the best choice despite its 
many problems.

     As for a Zip file having a resource fork, that's nearly impossible 
unless it was saved to a Mac drive.  Files posted on the net don't have 
resource forks although it's quite possible for the files within an 
archive to have them.  For the original poster, I'd say find PMPunzip 2.0 
on one of the major FTP sights and give it a whirl.
