Sure it isn't 7.5.2? That's a Pmac only release. It's a kludge update for
PCI bus boxes, like 7.1.2 was for the first Pmacs. 7.1.2 and 7.5.2 were only
intended for the boxes they came with. The models you named all have PCI bus. 

Nonetheless, you can run 7.5.5 on anything from a Plus on up. A classic II 
would be able to do 7.6 as well, since it's 32 bit. A measly 16 MHz and 
crippled 16 bit data bus, but it'll work.

Hmm I woulda gone with a IIci at minimum, so I could use ethernet on the Mac.
No slot in a Classic II for an ethernet card. I like using my SE/30 with 
ethernet card as a server, but it hit the end of the line at 7.5.5 since it
isn't 32 bit.
