I suppose an adapter might be possible, but the two are rather different 
(IIRC, one is analog, one is digital, although I can never remember which).  
In any case, I bet I've got a spare IBM-style joystick around here and I'd 
happily trade you (as I need a //c joystick) straight across.  Email me if 
interested.
