   From the comp.sys.apple2 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) at
http://www.visi.com/~nathan/a2/faq/csa2.html section 8.5, error $46
(==$0046) is 'File not found'. So, the obvious question is, does that
file exist on disk (it should be in the SYSTEM directory off the root
directory), and is it readable? If not, there's a problem, and GS/OS
should be reinstalled.
