But if you don't have a null-modem cable, the easiest way is to
upload the files to your account with your IIgs, then move the modem
to your PC and download from your account.

For the IIgs, I would add ANSIterm and Spectrum. Spectrum,
especially, if you need to transfer data that's on HFS volumes.
