   Unless you invite friends over to install programs on your system
without any permission, it's a good idea to view the readme for a
program you install. According to the GUPP readme (GUPP is available
on all major Apple II ftp sites, as well as from
http://www.visi.com/~nathan/a2/njmgssoft.html) the placebo does nothing
except provide the same memory footprint as the real GUPP in case you
think that GUPP is causing problems.
